Natural Sculptures of the East: Buddha, Lakshmi, Pharoah’s Chariot, Temple Towers, and the Three Wise Women

So glad I slowed my pace and spent a few hours today at Arches National Park en route to Bryce Canyon. The goddess has sculpted flowing, erupting, cascading, arching, thrusting shapes and tells ancient stories in her shapes and colors.

Although I did not hike, I saw plenty of pristine beauty from the roadside. (How is that I have been traveling for a week now and have only had a few short walks and only in towns? This is another lesson learned about strategic planning, allowing time for early morning or late evening hikes (too hot otherwise) and not spending too much bloody time in one’s vehicle!)
